In Ohio, there has been a slight rise in the price of a 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage over the week, while a bigger jump has been seen by Kentucky.
According to Zillow.com, on Thursday, the average rate for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage in Ohio was 5.29%, as compared to 5.28 percent last week. And it was below the national average of 5.31%.
However, in Kentucky, average rates jumped over the week, they have shown a rise from 5.31% on July 30, to 5.38% on Wednesday.
According to Zillow, average rates ranges from a low of 4.99 percent in Utah, to a high of 5.48% in Louisiana.
